Breck Ironworks
In 1999, Breck Ironworks started supplying built-to-order structural steel for construction projects. Breck Ironworks, then added intricately designed fences, gates and outdoor banisters for mountain homes.
The business took a new twist with the realization of the demand for outdoor fire pits at these mountain homes. Response to the fire pits was overwhelming and we are now shipping fire pits all over the US as well as internationally. Breck Ironworks creates a variety of custom steel fire pits trademarked, Fire On Demand. Contractors, designers and homeowners choose from three models, which can be lit with a match or the flip of a switch. They are then built to suit with a free standing or insert base depending on the location and desired look of the fire pit. Fire on Demand fire pits have received a great deal of buzz throughout the building industry, and can be found in high end custom homes, restaurants and hotels around the country.

Breck Ironworks helps to restore Engine #9 and Tender Car
Selected by the Breckenridge Heritage Alliance, Breck Ironworks restored the tender car that helped fuel Engine No 9. For over 50 years, the steam engine was responsible for making the treacherous journey over the High Line, modern-day Boreas Pass Road, from Denver, bringing news, supplies and people to the small mining towns of Summit County.
Breck Ironworks works with local schools
Breck Ironworks helps local high schools offering time and materials to help teach welding. Many of these students went on to get certified and work in Ironwork shops including ours!
Breck Ironworks donates ski chair to ski museum
Breck Ironworks donates ski chair to Breckenridge ski museum. Reclaimed from the old Falcon chair on Breckenridge's Peak 10 the ski chair will sit in front of the museum and offer visitors a nice spot to rest in your beautiful ski town.
